"The 10th THE SHOJIMARU Red and White Song Contest 2026"
Call for Entries!!
The event will be held over three days: December 27 (Sun), 28 (Mon), and 29 (Tue)!!
To wrap up our 10th anniversary, we’re once again hosting a three-day Red and White Song Festival! Everyone is welcome to join us!!
Participation Requirements:
Put your heart and soul into one song!! Each person may submit only one entry per day. (If you’re performing as a member of a group entered under someone else’s name, please limit your appearances to one per day. *Staff musicians are exempt.)
Participation fee: 2,000 yen per person + 1 drink
Acoustic performances, bands, or karaoke—all are welcome!
No age restrictions—all genres welcome. Original songs are also allowed. First-time performers are very welcome!!
(We have instruments available, so you can come empty-handed! In fact, since we expect it to be crowded, coming empty-handed would be a big help!!)
[How to Apply]
We will begin accepting entries via email starting at 10:00 AM on Sunday, October 25.
Please send the following information to THE SHOJIMARU’s email address (fukumaru.rec@gmail.com):
・Subject: “Application for the Red and White Song Contest”
・Body:
① Preferred date
② Entry name and song title (it’s okay if not decided yet)
③ Performance style and instrumentation (You may use our instruments or karaoke. Please let us know if you plan to use them.)
④ Please specify if you would like to use a staff musician.

* Payment is due on stage after the performance. This will be a live performance with no rehearsal. Please provide song titles, chords, sheet music, etc., in advance.
・Drum Uncle / 3,000 yen (Shōjimaru Sugiyama will play drums.)
・Drum Brother / Tips (Ganganmaru will play drums.)
・Guitar Uncle / Tips (Yōshi Ishizawa will play guitar.)
Additionally, Guitar Guy (Takuya Onode / Tetsuro Kimura), Dancer Girl (Ayame Higo), and Drum Son (Roku Sugiyama) may or may not be available depending on the day, so please confirm their availability directly before making an offer.
